Offer Valid Criticism when It Comes to Good Software

Every time I do a Basecamp review for my colleagues and other professional friends, I come across a few who are always resistant. They are so quick to put down Basecamp in favour of other web based project management softwares. Some of these rival software include Ace and 5 pm.

Don’t get me wrong; both are good alternatives. And of course, not everyone is going to love Basecamp, I understand. However, to complain that the free version of Basecamp only allows one project to track. Well, duh! It’s the free version! Be happy that you get to check out such a phoenomenal software for completely free. You don’t have to enter a credit card or Paypal information. That’s it!

If these people have valid criticisms, I welcome them. For instance, “I don’t like Basecamp because it makes entering milestones too complicated”. By the way, this isn’t true either.

I have tested a lot of project management software and by far, Basecamp takes the cake in ease of use. I have trained a lot of businesses to implement Basecamp and it has been equally easy to train them in using it. They also find it intuitive and easy to use.

By far, they love how easily they can accomplish any taks within the software. They love they have a professional looking hub of sorts to keep all the client work in one spot. After all, aren’t most businesses wanting to get their stuff together? Who wants to get buried under lost emails and losable paperwork?

The best thing is that Basecamp allows a basic account for around $25 per month which is fantastic. It is fantastic because it is affordable for small businesses. Of course, you can upgrade at any time and the rest of the plans are very affordable for what they offer.
